Woman Searches for Man Who Picked Up Her P10,000 Meant for Eye Surgery
A woman is asking for the public’s help in finding a man who picked up her lost wallet containing P10,000 she had saved for her upcoming eye surgery.
Recently, Rozel Joy Salcedo shared her plea through a post circulated by Facebook user Russel Simorio Councilor. The post quickly gained attention online and elicited various reactions from netizens.
According to Salcedo, the wallet contained her hard-earned savings for her scheduled operation on November 6. She had been setting aside money little by little to cover the cost of her treatment.

Closed-circuit television (CCTV) footage reportedly showed a man picking up the wallet near the University of Luzon in Dagupan City. Salcedo hopes that someone who recognizes the man can help her recover her belongings and the money inside.
The woman explained that the upcoming procedure would be her second surgery for retinal detachment, an eye condition that requires medical attention. This time, her doctors are expected to remove the silicone oil previously placed in her eye as part of her treatment.
Salcedo said she was worried about how she could gather the money again because her operation was approaching. She described herself as someone who works hard to make ends meet, making the loss especially difficult.

Rozel appealed to the public to help spread her message, hoping that the person who found the wallet would return it.
The woman hopes for the kindness and understanding of those who may be able to help her recover her savings before her scheduled operation.
Anyone with information about the wallet or the man seen in the CCTV footage is encouraged to reach out through the original social media post.
