Father Seeks Justice After 3-Year-Old Son Allegedly Hurt by Teacher in Surigao del Norte
A father complained about a teacher who allegedly hurt his 3-year-old son at a school in the Municipality of Placer, Surigao del Norte.
Recently, Cris Bagalay Tabamo, a Facebook user, shared his disappointment after learning that his 3-year-old son had allegedly experienced physical abuse from his teacher. His post quickly went viral and received various reactions from netizens.
According to the father, his son was allegedly subjected to harmful treatment inside the school. He claimed that the child was tied up, had tape placed over his mouth, and was struck with a stick. He also said the incidents reportedly happened more than once.

Since then, the family has noticed significant changes in the boy’s behavior. The child, who was once comfortable going to school, has reportedly become fearful and emotional.
His parents said he often cries when they leave for work and no longer wants to attend classes. They also observed that he has been having difficulty sleeping at night.
For the family, the situation has been especially painful because they enrolled their son in a private school believing it would provide a safe and nurturing environment for young learners. Instead, they now find themselves seeking answers and accountability over what allegedly happened to their child.

The father said they repeatedly reported the matter to the school administration and submitted formal letters requesting immediate action. The family also met with school officials to discuss their concerns.
However, according to him, no disciplinary action had been taken against the individuals involved at the time of his post.
Determined to pursue the matter, the family is now bringing their complaint to the proper authorities for investigation. They hope the case will be carefully examined and that appropriate action will be taken based on the findings.
