Mixed Oil Price Changes Expected on Tuesday (July 29, 2025), Gas Stations Say
PHILIPPINES – Various gasoline stations in the country are set to implement mixed oil price changes starting this week.
Starting Tuesday, July 29, 2025, Filipino motorists will face new fuel prices as oil companies announce a new round of adjustments. While there’s a slight relief for gasoline users, diesel and kerosene prices are once again going up, marking the third straight week of increases.
Here is the updated list of fuel prices:
- Gasoline: P0.10 per liter decrease
- Diesel: P0.60 per liter increase
- Kerosene: P0.40 per liter increase

These changes will apply starting 6:00 a.m. across major fuel providers including Shell Pilipinas, Seaoil, Petrogazz, and Jetti Petroleum.
However, the full price increase won’t apply in all areas. Due to the impact of recent typhoons and monsoon rains, some provinces are under a state of calamity. In response, the Department of Energy requested fuel companies to hold off on diesel hikes in storm-hit locations.
Many firms complied, providing temporary price freezes to help affected communities.

Diesel price increases will be deferred in the following areas:
- Ilocos Region: Ilocos Norte, Ilocos Sur, La Union, Pangasinan
- Cagayan Valley: Batanes, Cagayan, Isabela, Quirino, Nueva Vizcaya
- Pangasinan Towns: Alaminos, Dagupan, Mangaldan, Lingayen, Bayambang, Malasiqui, San Fabian, Calasiao, and others
- Other Provinces: Bataan, Bulacan, Cavite, Rizal, Pampanga, Oriental Mindoro, Negros Occidental
These price movements come amid global market pressures, including falling U.S. crude inventories and international trade uncertainties.
While gasoline users may get a slight relief, diesel and kerosene consumers are once again bracing for higher costs, unless they live in storm-affected areas where relief remains in place.
