Authorities Arrest Most Wanted Man in Antipolo City for Molesting Stepdaughter

The most wanted man in Antipolo City was arrested for allegedly molesting his live-in partner’s 12-year-old daughter.

The Antipolo City police arrested a 32-year-old man accused of molesting his minor stepdaughter. The suspect, who had been hiding for more than a year, was listed as the city’s third most wanted person.

According to authorities, the abuse started in 2019 when the child was left alone at home without her mother. It was during those moments that the suspect preyed on her, touching her in ways no child should ever experience.

The abuse reportedly happened again the following year, but the girl stayed silent out of fear. Her misery came to light after she confided in her sibling and a friend through online messages. Her biological father later discovered the conversation and immediately sought the help of the Antipolo police.

A warrant of arrest was issued against the suspect in January 2024, but he managed to escape capture.

Investigators said he had been hiding in different areas, including Marikina, Bulacan, and San Mateo, Rizal. Despite his attempts to evade the law, he was eventually tracked down with the help of the victim, who bravely identified the house where he was staying in Barangay Roque, Antipolo City. Police operatives moved in and arrested him without incident.

The suspect chose not to give any statement following his arrest. He now faces charges of acts of lasciviousness and violation of the Special Protection of Children Against Abuse, Exploitation, and Discrimination Act.

Police officials reminded the public that their office remains open to anyone seeking justice against abuse. They stressed the importance of reporting these crimes, especially when children are involved, so victims can be protected and perpetrators held accountable.
