Trisikad Driver Found Dead on South Capitol Road in Bacolod City, Negros Occidental
A trisikad driver was reportedly found dead along South Capitol Road near the Lagoon area in Bacolod City on Monday morning (August 17, 2026).
The Facebook page RMN DYHB Bacolod 747 reported that a trisikad driver was allegedly found lifeless inside his pedicab. The post quickly went viral and drew various reactions from netizens online.
According to initial information, the elderly trisikad driver was discovered inside his pedicab at around 8:00 a.m. along South Capitol Road, near the area in front of the Development Bank of the Philippines and close to the Provincial Capitol Lagoon.

Witnesses said the man was a familiar face in the area and was often seen there during the mornings. He reportedly earned a living by driving a trisikad and providing transportation services to residents around the city.
Based on early observations, there were no immediate signs of foul play or indications that the victim had been harmed by another person. Authorities have not yet released the identity of the deceased while efforts are being made to notify his family and gather more information about the circumstances surrounding his death.
