Man Receives Criticism Online for Using Deodorant & Returning It to Shelf at Grocery Store
A man was caught on CCTV using a deodorant and then putting it back on the shelf of a grocery store in Dagupan.
Recently, the Facebook page MyMart Everyday shared a video showing a man using a deodorant inside a grocery store. The post quickly went viral and received various reactions from the online community.
In the video, the man was seen picking up a deodorant from the display shelf and examining it. After a few moments, he appeared to smell the product and apply it to his underarm while still inside the grocery store.

After using the item, he allegedly returned it to the shelf instead of purchasing it. Store management strongly criticized the act and reminded the public that tampering products is not only inappropriate but can also pose health and safety concerns for other customers.
The store emphasized that products on store shelves are intended for sale and should remain untouched unless they are being purchased.
The grocery store also pointed out that using an item and putting it back for others to buy is unhygienic. Many online users agreed, saying such actions could expose other shoppers to health risks and create unnecessary problems for businesses.
The management assured the public that the deodorant seen in the video was immediately removed from the shelf. According to management, the product was taken out before it could be purchased by another customer.

Rest assured that the used deodorant has been taken off the shelf before anyone could buy it.”
