Wife of Niño Muhlach Defends Him Against Accident Victim’s Claims
DIANE ABBY TUPAZ – The wife of veteran actor Niño Muhlach has defended her husband after a motorcycle rider accused him of failing to provide promised assistance following a road accident.
The controversy began when the injured rider posted on Facebook, claiming that three weeks had passed without the replacement of his damaged motorcycle. He also suggested that Niño had failed to keep his word after the accident.
The incident happened on August 23, 2026, along Marcos Highway in Antipolo City. According to reports, Niño fell asleep while driving his new SUV after a tiring schedule. His vehicle reportedly crashed into several establishments and hit a motorcycle.
Niño reportedly accepted responsibility for the incident and promised to address the damages. However, the injured rider later went public with his concerns, saying he was still waiting for the promised replacement motorcycle.

Diane responded by denying that her husband had abandoned the victim or failed to provide assistance. She said the social media post created the impression that Niño had done nothing to help, which she said was not true.
To support her claims, Diane shared what she described as receipts showing the family’s continued assistance. She said they had been helping with the rider’s medical expenses, groceries, and other daily needs. She also claimed that they were providing school allowance for the rider’s daughter.

Diane also reminded the rider about a scheduled medical checkup and said a member of their family would accompany him. She maintained that the damaged motorcycle would still be replaced as promised.
The actor’s wife also expressed frustration over what she considered an inaccurate account of the situation. Her response was intended to clarify that Niño had been helping the victim while addressing the responsibilities connected to the accident.
