Sen. Bong Go Speaks on Duterte Following Former President’s Recent ICC Appearance
BONG GO – The Senator called on the Filipino people to continue praying for the good health and safety of former President Rodrigo Duterte.
Recently, former Pres. Rodrigo Duterte personally appeared before the International Criminal Court (ICC) Trial Chamber III. It was for his fourth status conference for the crimes against humanity case against him.
Former Pres. Rodrigo Duterte who appeared with black hair was even described by Sen. Robin Padilla as “forever young”. Some netizens also claimed that the former President looked younger amid his ICC detention.
Padilla is one of the allies of former Pres. Duterte in the Senate. The actor-turned-lawmaker had always been vocal about his loyalty to the former President.
Previously, Sen. Robin Padilla and Sen. Bong Go even claimed that they will remain in the so-called Duterte bloc in the Senate even if there will only be two (2) of them. Currently, another Duterte ally senator, Bato dela Rosa, remains in hiding amid the supposed ICC arrest warrant against him.
Recently, following the appearance of former Pres. Rodrigo Roa Duterte before the ICC Trial Chamber III for the fourth status conference on the crimes against humanity case against him, Sen. Bong Go called for continued prayers for the former President.
Based on News5, Sen. Bong Go who was a longtime-aide of former Pres. Rodrigo Duterte for more than 20 years before he became a government official called on the Filipinos to continuously pray for the good health and safety of the former Chief Executive. He made the statement when he visited the fire victims in Barangay Central in Quezon City.
“Ipagpatuloy niyo pong ipagdasal ang maayos na kalusugan at kaligtasan ni Tatay Digong,” the Senator said.
Sen. Bong Go also called for claps for former Pres. Rodrigo Duterte. Based on the post, he also stressed that it is up to the public to judge what the former Chief Executive has done for the country.
“Palakpakan po natin si Tatay Digong na nagserbisyo po sa atin sa loob ng anim na taon. Kayo na po ang humusga kung anong ginawa niya po para sa ating bayan,” Go expressed.
Ahead of the 2028 Elections, not only Duterte’s daughter Vice Pres. Sara Duterte but as well as Sen. Bong Go dominate the survey results.
