The suspect was taken into custody following the incident. Authorities are now encouraging the parents of the young victims to file a formal complaint against him for acts of lasciviousness.

During questioning, the suspect admitted that he had used illegal drugs and expressed regret over what he had done. He also urged others not to follow his actions and apologized for the incident.

Barangay Kagawad Arce Lucas also learned that the suspect worked as a vegetable porter at a local market. He was reportedly involved in previous incidents of theft and disturbances in their community.

“Takot na takot at nabigla sila sa ginawa no’ng suspek. Doon sa mga mabibiktima, huwag kayong matakot o magdalawang-isip na mag-report sa ating barangay at kapulisan para maagap na mahuli ‘yung gumagawa ng masama,” Lucas said.

The suspect is currently detained at Pasig City Police Sub-station 5 for violating the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act, which covers offenses involving illegal drugs in the Philippines.

“Nakasindi po ako ng damo po. Pinagsisisihan ko po yung ginawa ko. Wag na lang po nila ako gayahin. Pasensya na po,” the suspect explained.

Authorities are encouraging the parents of the victims to pursue a case of acts of lasciviousness against the suspect. This would allow investigators to further examine the allegations and take the necessary legal steps.

Meanwhile, the suspect will remain in police custody as authorities handle the drug-related case against him. Any additional charges related to the alleged touching will depend on the filing of a formal complaint and the results of the investigation.

Authorities continue to remind the public to protect children from possible abuse and to report incidents to the proper agencies.
