Nancy dela Rosa thanked those who support Sen. Bato dela Rosa
Nancy Dela Rosa, the wife of fugitive Senator Bato Dela Rosa, made a public appeal via Facebook to protect her husband from what she described as ongoing “persecution.”
She called on influential individuals and former political allies to cease using Sen. Dela Rosa for personal gain, emphasizing that he does not pose a threat to them or to the state.
Dela Rosa is currently classified as a fugitive by the Philippine government, following an active manhunt and a P50-million bounty issued for his arrest.

The issue involving the senator stems from a reported warrant of arrest from the International Criminal Court (ICC). This is in line with his alleged crimes against humanity (murder) concerning his role as the chief enforcer of the deadly war on drugs implemented during the administration of former President Rodrigo Duterte.
Previously, Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) Secretary Jonvic Remulla stated that a powerful group is protecting Sen. Bato dela Rosa, the death of 10,000 people might happen if authorities will arrest the senator. With this, he was encouraged to voluntariy surrender.
In a recent social media post, Nancy dela Rosa, expressed gratitude to those who are supporting her husband. “Thank you for helping me realize that there are millions who still believe and support him,” the wife of Sen. Bato dela Rosa said.

Nancy also called out to people in power not to use her husband for their personal agenda, and she stressed that he husband is not the enemy.
“I just pray that the powerful few, who were also his friends, would come to realize he is not their enemy nor the enemy of this state. Pls do not use him for your personal agenda. He has helped you in countless ways and he has done you no wrong personally. He needs your help, not your persecution,” Nancy said.
