CCTV Captures Alleged Stabbing of 15-Year-Old Outside Store in Cabarroguis, Quirino
A 30-year-old man has been arrested and charged with frustrated murder after he allegedly stabbed a 15-year-old student outside a sari-sari store in Cabarroguis, Quirino, in an incident captured on CCTV.
According to Bombo Radyo Cauayan, the attack happened around 10:30 p.m. on October 30, 2026, at Purok 6, Barangay Zamora. The victim, identified only by the alias “Prince,” is a resident of Barangay San Benigno in Aglipay, Quirino, while the suspect lives in Barangay Zamora.

ABS-CBN News, in a TV Patrol report published November 5, 2026 at 7:35 p.m., showed CCTV footage of the teen and a friend hanging out in front of the store past 10 p.m. when a man on a motorcycle stopped in front of them.
Police said the suspect, who arrived on a violet Honda Click motorcycle, confronted the pair over the allegedly noisy way they were riding a motorcycle. He then reportedly drew a bladed weapon and stabbed the victim in the neck before fleeing toward Barangay Gundaway.
Mobile patrollers from the Cabarroguis Police Station immediately rushed the student to the Quirino Provincial Medical Center. The teen remains recovering, according to reports.
Responding officers launched a hot pursuit operation and arrested the suspect at his house. Authorities also recovered the alleged weapon and the motorcycle used in the escape.
The suspect reportedly admitted he was drunk when the crime happened and that he had mistaken the victim. He now faces a frustrated murder complaint, ABS-CBN News said.
Police in Quirino said the investigation into the incident is continuing as the case moves forward.
