Philippine fuel prices may drop on November 10, 2026, with gasoline projected to decrease by P14 per liter, diesel by P5, and kerosene by P5.20.
Motorists in the Philippines may soon enjoy significant savings as fuel prices are expected to go down starting Tuesday, November 10, 2026.
The Department of Energy (DOE) has projected a major rollback in the prices of petroleum products following movements in the international oil market. Based on the initial estimates, gasoline prices could decrease by as much as P14 per liter.
According to DOE Oil Industry Management Bureau Director Rino Abad, the projected price adjustments were based on the first four days of trading in the international oil market.
The expected price reductions are as follows:
- Gasoline: P14.00 per liter
- Diesel: P5.00 per liter
- Kerosene: P5.20 per liter
If implemented, the significant rollback could provide relief to Filipino motorists and households that have been dealing with fluctuating fuel prices.
Why Are Fuel Prices Expected to Go Down?
Several developments in the international market have contributed to the expected decline in petroleum prices.
Among the factors cited in recent reports are developments surrounding the United States midterm elections, expectations of a possible easing of tensions between the United States and Iran, and movements in global oil prices.
The possibility of improved geopolitical conditions has reportedly eased some concerns about potential disruptions in the global oil supply.
However, Abad cautioned that the expected price reduction may not be sustained if actual improvements in oil supply do not follow.
How Much Can Motorists Save?
If the projected adjustments materialize, motorists purchasing 50 liters of gasoline could save approximately P700.
Meanwhile, those purchasing 50 liters of diesel could save around P250, while kerosene consumers could save approximately P260 for the same volume.
These figures are based on the preliminary projected reductions and may change depending on the final adjustments announced by oil companies.
When Will the New Fuel Prices Take Effect?
The expected rollback is scheduled to take effect on Tuesday, November 10, 2026.
Oil companies are expected to announce their respective price adjustments on Monday, November 9, ahead of the implementation.
Motorists are advised to wait for the official announcements, as the projected figures are not yet the final pump-price adjustments.
