Amid the soaring fuel prices in the Philippines, Pres. Bongbong Marcos has ordered the Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) to talk to Iran for oil passage at the Strait of Hormuz. Tehran imposed restrictions on the said vital passage way for global oil shipments after the United States and Israel attacked Iran.

Iran’s capital banned the vessels linked to the United States and Israel. Recently, the government announced that Iran allows the safe passage of the oil shipments bound for Manila.
