Roque Cites Claims vs. Pres. Bongbong Marcos Anew
BONGBONG MARCOS – Former presidential spokesman Harry Roque claimed that the President allegedly wants to reconcile with Vice Pres. Sara Duterte.
The rift between Marcos Jr. and Duterte is no secret to the Filipino people. The speculations about the gap between the former running mates sparked after the Vice President resigned from being the secretary of the Department of Education (DepEd) and also left the Marcos Jr. Cabinet.
Recently, amid the political turmoil in the country, Vice Pres. Sara Duterte announced that she will run for president in 2028. According to her, she realized that her life is not for hers to live alone.
Vice Pres. Sara Duterte confirmed that she has recruited someone to be her running mate in the 2028 Elections last year but she refused to reveal the identity of the person. According to her, she saw how allegedly unfaithful Marcos Jr. is to his campaign promises.
Following her announcement, Vice Pres. Sara Duterte was told about the speculations that she might take revenge on the current administration if she will win as the country’s next president and it will allegedly all about taking revenge. The Vice President denied that being vengeful is in her nature and history as a government official.
According to the Vice President, while she will not be vengeful, those who committed wrongs to the government and the people will be held accountable. She claimed that the person she recruited to be her running mate will be the one to take care of it so she can focus on her job as president.
Recently, Harry Roque, the former spokesman of ex-Pres. Rodrigo Roa Duterte, claimed that his “confidential source” allegedly claimed that Pres. Bongbong Marcos wants to reconcile with Vice Pres. Sara Duterte. Based on a post, Roque claimed he knows the Vice President and she will allegedly not reconcile with him.
“[Ayon sa] confidential source namin, gusto makipag-ayos ni Marcos Jr. kay VP Sara,” Duterte’s former Spox said.
Furthermore, based on the post, Harry Roque also claimed that Vice Pres. Sara Duterte just allegedly wants justice over what happened to former Pres. Rodrigo Roa Duterte. Currently, her father remains detained under the custody of the ICC in The Hague, Netherlands.
“The train has left. Wala nang balikan ‘yan,” Roque said.
