This is what Kylie Padilla said about this.

Senator Robin Padilla would run for vice president if Rodrigo Duterte orders him, and this is what Kylie Padilla said about this.

“Kapag utos ni Digong. Walang pwedeng mag utos sa akin kahit sino, si Digong lang. Kasi ayaw ko talaga ng pulitika, alam naman lahat ng nanay ko alam yan, mga kapatid ko, asawa ko. Basta sinabi ni Digong susunod ako.”

This is what Senator Robin Padilla said when asked about running for vice president. While he is not interested in running for the position, his door remains open for the opportunity if former president Rodrigo Duterte tells him to as the tandem of VP Sara Duterte in the 2028 national elections.

However, he would also give way to other more experienced politicians, such as Sen. Imee Marcos, Sen. Alan Peter Cayetano, and even the missing Sen. Bato dela Rosa.

Recently, her daughter, Kapuso actress Kylie Padilla, was asked about her thoughts regarding this matter. In an interview, when she was asked about this, her initial remark was, “Aalis na ko ng Pilipinas.”

She expressed this several times while laughing, but on a serious note, she remarked that she trusts her father, who is open to running for a higher position. She did not make any further comments.

Watch below:

In a previous article, Padilla said he was ready for whatever political mudslinging was coming his way, as he had already gotten used to it. He believes that there’s nothing people would throw at him that he has not already heard and added that he is not thin-skinned enough to take the criticisms deeply.

However, the issue is that he is accordingly not up for it, if truth be told. He would only do it for Digong, as he is the only person he will listen to and obey.

Meanwhile, the Duterte patriarch is currently awaiting trial before the International Criminal Court in The Hague, Netherlands, over charges of crimes against humanity linked to his controversial anti-drug campaign, which reportedly resulted in thousands of deaths.
