Bus Driver & Conductor Assaulted w/ Metal Pipe by Siblings in Quezon City Road Rage Incident
A bus driver and his conductor were injured after they were attacked by two motorcycle riders during a road rage incident in Quezon City.
On Saturday night, May 2, 2026, the bus was on its way from Sapang Palay heading toward NIA Road along Quirino Highway in Barangay Pasong Putik when the confrontation took place.
According to police investigation, the trouble started when the bus honked at a 27-year-old motorcycle rider who suddenly swerved to avoid a pothole. The rider reportedly took offense and moved forward again.

When both vehicles stopped, a heated argument broke out between them. The situation quickly escalated, leading to damage on the bus, including its side mirror and windshield.
During the confrontation, the bus driver got off the vehicle holding a metal pipe to defend himself. However, the rider managed to grab it and used it to hit both the driver and the conductor.
The rider’s 23-year-old brother also joined the attack. Their live-in partners were also involved, and one of them was seen carrying a child during the chaos. The victims suffered head injuries and had to undergo medical treatment and stitches.

The bus driver and conductor are now recovering and have decided to file charges against the suspects. The motorcycle riders, who are residents of Barangay Damayang Lagi in Quezon City, are facing cases of Serious Physical Injuries.
The Land Transportation Office also said it will issue a show cause order to those involved to explain their actions during the road rage incident. Authorities continue to remind motorists to stay calm on the road and avoid violent reactions to prevent similar incidents in the future.
