Customer Upset After Being Asked to Take Pet Dog Outside Fast-Food Chain

A female customer expressed disappointment after the manager of a popular fast-food chain did not allow her to bring her pet dog inside the establishment.

Recently, Castro Nelly, a Facebook user, shared her experience at the popular fast-food chain where she was reportedly prohibited from bringing her pet dog indoors. The post quickly went viral and gained various reactions online.

According to her post, she visited the restaurant together with her niece and a Chihuahua named Lucas that she was taking care of.

Nelly explained that she brought the dog inside while it was safely placed in a carrier. She said she was not aware of the restaurant’s no pets policy because the sign was too small for her to notice.

The customer also clarified that she was not against the policy itself, but she felt saddened by how the situation was handled by the manager. She shared that after placing and paying for her order, her niece and the dog were allegedly told to wait outside.

Because of this, she requested to have their food changed to takeout instead. Nelly said she only wanted to buy chicken for the dog and hoped they would be allowed to stay for a short while while waiting for their order.

According to her, the manager firmly explained that pets were not allowed inside the establishment. Nelly compared the experience to another fast-food branch she previously visited where her dog was reportedly accommodated without any problem.

The customer also raised concern about the hot weather outside, saying her niece and the dog had to stay under the heat while waiting for their food. She added that the situation affected her appetite and left her feeling embarrassed and disappointed.

Aside from the pet issue, Nelly also mentioned confusion regarding the receipt she received from the cashier, claiming she was accidentally given the merchant copy instead of the customer copy.
