Foreign Man Dies During Meet Up w/ Female Chatmate in Iloilo
A 28-year-old foreign man dies after suffering a heart attack during his first meeting with a female chatmate in Iloilo.
According to the Facebook page RADYO Busina Iloilo, the man had been communicating for some time with a 26-year-old woman who works as a nurse while also studying medicine. Their conversations eventually led to plans to finally meet in person after months of chatting.
On Wednesday, March 11, 2026, the long-awaited meeting took place. The two agreed to see each other and checked into a motel room in Iloilo City. It was reportedly their first face-to-face meeting after building a connection through online messages.
However, the situation suddenly turned tragic. While they were inside the room, the man suddenly collapsed behind the woman. She was shocked by what happened and immediately sought help from the motel staff.
Employees quickly responded and tried to assist the man before he was rushed to a hospital. Unfortunately, despite efforts to help him, he was later declared dead. Authorities said the cause of death was a heart attack.
Initial information revealed that the man had taken several enhancement pills before meeting the woman. Investigators believe the medication may have triggered complications that led to the heart attack.
It was also learned that the foreign man had long planned to travel to the Philippines, especially to Iloilo, to finally meet the woman he had been communicating with online. He reportedly arrived early at the motel that day and waited several hours before the woman arrived after finishing her studies.

The supposed happy and memorable meeting between two people quickly turned into a heartbreaking incident. The woman, who had not expected such a tragedy, was left traumatized by the incident.
