DOE Eyes Mixed Oil Price Adjustments Next Week
FUEL PRICE UPDATE – Various gas firms in the country are set to implement mixed oil price adjustments starting next week.
On Tuesday, November 3, 2026, Filipino motorists can expect mixed fuel price changes. Gasoline prices are expected to increase while diesel is set to rollback.
Industry sources say gasoline prices are likely to rise between P2.90 and P3.20 per liter. Diesel, on the other hand, may get a small rollback of around P0.40 to P0.60 per liter. These are still estimates based on recent international market movements and the peso’s performance.

This follows the current week’s adjustment that started on October 27. Gasoline went down by P0.30 per liter, while diesel rose by P1.20 and kerosene by P0.50. The upcoming hike in gasoline would reverse a good part of the recent relief drivers enjoyed.
Several factors are influencing the expected movement. Ongoing tensions in the Middle East continue to affect global oil supply. At the same time, some countries have eased diesel export rules, which helped soften diesel prices. The weaker peso against the US dollar is also adding pressure on the cost of imported fuel.
“Diesel and gasoline closely followed the movement of crude oil, which continues to be supported by concerns about energy supply disruptions in the Middle East as regional attacks continue and worries the US could strike Iran after next week’s US midterm elections,” the source said.

The country’s fuel supply remains stable. Latest reports show petroleum stocks good for about 53 days, with enough gasoline for around 52 days and diesel for about 56 days.
Drivers are advised to wait for the official DOE announcement and check prices at their preferred gas stations, since actual rates can differ slightly among oil companies.
The official announcement from the Department of Energy usually comes out on Monday and takes effect the following day.
