Philippines says value of Q2 farm and fisheries output up 2.9% yr/yr

 The Philippines’ farm and fisheries production grew 2.9% by value in the second quarter from a year earlier to P452.22 billion ($7.4 billion), the statistics agency said on Thursday.

Crop output, which accounted for 55% of total production, rose 1.6% from a year earlier, the Philippine Statistics Authority said.
