Woman Passes Away After Falling From Vehicle That Suddenly Moved Backward in Camarines Sur
A 48-year-old woman died after falling from a Toyota Revo that suddenly moved backward along San Jose Street in Goa, Camarines Sur.
On Sunday afternoon (October 11, 2026), the woman was inside the vehicle with her husband and their two children when the accident happened. The woman’s husband had just started the engine when the vehicle suddenly moved backward, reportedly due to a possible problem with the gear system.
The vehicle’s door had not been properly closed, causing the woman to fall out as it moved. She then hit the concrete post of a house’s gate, leaving her with injuries that proved fatal.

Her family immediately brought her to the Goa Municipal Infirmary for medical attention. However, medical personnel declared her dead on arrival.
Fortunately, her husband and their two children, who were also inside the vehicle at the time, did not sustain any injuries.
Drivers are reminded to make sure their vehicles are in the proper gear before starting the engine and to check that all doors are securely closed before moving. It is also important to keep passengers safely seated and ensure that everyone is properly positioned inside the vehicle before driving away.

While the circumstances surrounding the incident remain based on the initial investigation, the woman’s death highlights the importance of basic vehicle safety checks before every trip.
The sudden loss of a family member can be devastating, especially when an accident happens without warning.
