Woman Expresses Dismay After Allegedly Buying Bed Foams Worth P5,000 That Turned Out to be Damaged
A woman has expressed her disappointment after her family allegedly purchased two bed foams that turned out to be in poor condition.
The victim identified as Jovelyn Calambo said that the bed foams were bought in July from a man who was selling household items around the Poblacion area. The items appeared new at the time of sale.

Each bed foam cost P2,500, bringing the total amount spent to P5,000. At first glance, the items seemed brand new because they were neatly wrapped in sheets.
However, after bringing them home, the family noticed something unusual. The bed foams felt damp, which made them curious about what was inside.
Wanting to clean the items, they removed the covering and inspected the foam more closely. To their surprise, they allegedly discovered that the foam appeared to be made from different pieces that had been joined together.
The family also noticed that the quality was far from what they expected when they bought the products. They felt that the bed foams did not match the condition that was presented to them during the sale.
Aside from the poor quality, they also struggled with an unpleasant smell that reportedly remained even after attempts to address the problem.
Because of the condition of the bed foams, the buyers are now considering throwing them away or burning them since the odor can no longer be removed. What was supposed to be a useful purchase for their home instead became an unexpected expense.
