Sen. Imee Marcos Discloses Wealth, All 24 Senators’ SALN Released
IMEE MARCOS – The Presidential Sister and Senator declared a P164.99 million net worth in her Statement of Assets, Liabilities, and Net Worth (SALN) as of June 30, 2025.
Amid the supposed multi-billion flood control corruption in the Philippines, Ombudsman Boying Remulla who reopened the SALN of the government officials for public access requested the senators to voluntarily disclosed their SALN. He issued a memorandum that reversed the circular that was implemented during the term of his predecessor, retired former Ombudsman Samuel Martires.
Remulla stressed that “Public office is a public trust”. The Office of the Ombudsman is the repository for the SALNs filed by the president, the vice president, the officials of the local government units, and the Constitutional commission officers.
Although their SALN is with the Senate Secretary’s Office, several senators immediately heed the call of Ombudsman Remulla. Based on her SALN, Sen. Risa Hontiveros declared a nearly P19 million net worth in 2024.
Sen. Raffy Tulfo released a copy of his joint SALN with his wife, Jocelyn, which showed that they have a net worth of P1.05 billion. The couple who are both in the government service declared zero liabilities in their SALN.
Following the disclosure of the SALNs, it was found that Sen. Mark Villar is the richest senator while Sen. Chiz Escudero is the poorest senator. Based on his 2024 SALN, Villar has a net worth of P1,261,337,817 while Escudero has a net worth of P18,840,082.62.
Presidential sister and Sen. Imee Marcos was one of the last senators to issue a copy of their SALN to the public. Based on her SALN, the presidential sister declared a net worth of P164.99 million as of June 30, 2025,
Sen. Imee Marcos listed 6 real properties in her SALN which include three (3) purchased residential land and one purchased agricultural land. Her real properties have a total value of P74,269,466.00.
The personal properties of Sen. Imee Marcos which has a value of P90,726,001.00 include cash on hand, in bank accounts, and in time deposits amounting to P59,534,000.00, furniture, antiques, jewelry, paintings, and articles. She declared zero liabilities. Her listed business interests are with the following:
