President Bongbong Marcos asked the fuel companies to do this.
Amid the crisis, President Bongbong Marcos asked the fuel companies to fully and promptly implement the price rollback in full.
Next week, another schedule of price rollbacks will occur after the Middle East tension has somehow eased due to a truce. Marcos Jr. said diesel prices will drop by PHP 24.94 per liter, while gasoline and kerosene will be reduced by PHP 3.41 and PHP 2 per liter, respectively.

“Mas malaki ito kaysa sa rollback nung nakaraang linggo at malinaw ang ibig sabihin nito para sa ating lahat: May ginhawang parating,” Marcos said in a video message.
With the bigger rollback expected next week, Marcos called on oil companies to give the Filipino people what they deserve in line with the price rollback: to implement it in full, rightfully, and on time.
“At sa ating mga oil company, malinaw naman ang aking panawagan: Ipatupad ninyo ang rollback nang buo, tama at walang pagkaantala. Ibigay ninyo sa taong bayan ang dapat naman na nasa kanila,” Marcos said.
The president hopes that the public will feel relieved with the rollback.
Marcos Jr. added that their office, along with the Department of Energy, is open to receive complaints from the public, urging the public to report any violations. He assured the people that the government would act on their concerns immediately.
He also emphasized that the government continues to provide a PHP 10 fuel discount for public utility vehicles (PUVs), as well as support for buses and PUV drivers through the Service Contracting Program.
Lastly, he stressed that every price reduction should be genuinely felt by the public, meaning that any decrease in fuel costs must directly benefit Filipino consumers.
“Ipapatupad din ng Department of Transportation at Land Transportation Office ang tatlong buwang extension sa validity ng mga nag-e-expire na lisensya, student permit, at rehistro ng sasakyan,” he added.
