Michelle Dee, Rhian Ramos, and Samantha Panlilio are cleared.
A complaint filed against Michelle Dee, Rhian Ramos, and Samantha Panlilio has been dismissed by the Makati City Prosecutor’s Office.
Famous beauty queen-actress Michelle Dee, fellow Kapuso actress Rhian Ramos, and beauty queen-politician Samantha Panlilio faced an issue after the driver of Ramos claimed that he was tortured and illegally detained by them.

The case was filed by Bonifacio “Totoy” Baro, who brought the complaint against the three personalities. The driver filed torture and serious illegal detention complaints against the famous female personalities before the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI).
According to the latest update, the Makati City Prosecutor’s Office has dismissed the complaint. However, this doesn’t mark the end of the legal battle. The Volunteers Against Crime and Corruption (VACC) has said it intends to challenge the prosecutor’s decision.
The VACC said it would support Baro in filing a motion for reconsideration. The group also vowed to pursue all available legal remedies, including bringing the case to the Supreme Court if necessary.
The details regarding the specific grounds for the dismissal were not included in the accessible version.
Dee’s camp welcomed the dismissal, saying the complaint against her and her co-respondents had no merit from the beginning.
“We are very happy with the resolution,” Atty. Maggie Garduque said, describing the complaint as “bereft of merit” from the outset.
“In the end, justice and truth prevail,” Garduque added.
In a previous interview, she emphasized that having a source does not automatically mean that the information being shared is true, noting that many people can easily fall victim to misinformation.
“I just hope that the truth comes out in that regard, and I definitely don’t agree na dapat binibigyan pa ng panahon ang mga nagfe-fake news,” she stressed.
