Alleged LGBT Member Leaves Male Drinking Companions w/ Unpaid Bar Bill
An alleged LGBT Member left his male drinking companions with an unpaid bar bill in Kalibo, Aklan.
On October 24, 2026, the LGBTQIA+ member reportedly left his companions at a bar along Rizal Street in Poblacion, Kalibo. However, the two men only went to the Kalibo Municipal Police Station on the evening of October 27 to have the incident recorded.
One of the men, identified as alias Wade, said the three of them had agreed to have drinks together. Their companion, identified as Jan-Jan, allegedly promised to pay the bill.

Trusting that agreement, the group ordered two buckets of beer and drank together inside the bar.
After some time, Jan-Jan reportedly told the two men that they would step out to withdraw money from a bank. However, the companion allegedly never returned, leaving Wade and his friend, alias Josh, to deal with the unpaid bill.
The amount reached P1,100, which the two men had to settle despite the earlier agreement that Jan-Jan would cover the cost.

With the bill still unpaid, Josh decided to leave his cellphone at the bar as temporary security. He reportedly planned to return the device once they had gathered enough money to pay the outstanding amount.
The incident was later brought to the attention of the Kalibo police when Wade and Josh went to the station to record what had happened.
As of the available report, there was no further information about Jan-Jan’s location or whether the unpaid bill had already been settled. Authorities have yet to release further details about the matter.
