Motorcycle Still Being Paid for Stolen by Three Armed Men in Antipolo, Rizal
Authorities are searching for three-armed men caught on CCTV stealing a parked motorcycle in Barangay San Jose, Antipolo, Rizal.
On Wednesday, October 28, 2026, a CCTV footage caught the suspects arriving on two motorcycles at around 1 a.m. They reportedly went around the area and asked some residents if they knew someone named JV.
One of the residents, identified as Dexter, said they did not know anyone by that name. The suspects initially left but returned a few minutes later. The men reportedly ordered the residents to go inside their homes while waving their firearms. The residents were too frightened to leave, as all three suspects were armed.

While two men watched the area, the third went straight to a parked motorcycle. He quickly started the engine and drove away with the vehicle. The other two suspects also escaped on their motorcycles, leaving all three with separate vehicles.
The owner, a 35-year-old truck driver, only discovered the theft the following morning. His motorcycle was worth around P180,000 and was still being paid for through monthly installments. He had owned it for only about six months and relied on it to travel to work.
The victim expressed sadness over the incident, explaining how hard he worked to pay for the motorcycle. He also hoped the suspects would face him fairly instead of taking something he had worked so hard to afford.
According to the barangay, this was the first reported motorcycle theft in the area, raising the possibility that the suspects came from another location.
Sitio coordinator Cornelio Jocosol said the motorcycle was stolen in less than 10 seconds, suggesting that the suspects knew what they were doing. He urged them to surrender before police caught up with them.

Meanwhile, barangay officials have strengthened security in the area. The Antipolo Component City Police Station is reviewing CCTV footage and conducting follow-up operations to identify and arrest the suspects. Once caught, they could face charges under the New Anti-Carnapping Act.
