Female Netizen Expresses Frustration Over Allegedly Rude Government Employee
A female netizen expressed her disappointment over a government employee who was allegedly rude to an elderly man.
Recently, Facebook user Inday Panadera Gelyn shared her frustration about an allegedly rude employee at the Public Attorney’s Office (PAO). Her post quickly went viral and received various reactions from online users
According to her, there were only a few people in the office at the time, including an elderly man and his companion who appeared to be helping him with his documents.
While seated in the waiting area, she noticed a female employee approach the elderly man carrying some papers. The netizen claimed that the employee spoke in a harsh manner while asking about missing medical documents.
Gelyn was reportedly surprised by the employee’s tone, saying that it seemed unnecessarily stern considering the situation.
The interaction allegedly became more uncomfortable when the employee pointed out several incomplete portions of the documents submitted by the elderly man. As the companion tried to explain the circumstances behind the missing requirements, the employee reportedly interrupted and responded in a manner that the witness perceived as dismissive and unfriendly.
According to the netizen, the incident left a strong impression on her. Watching an elderly person being spoken to in that way made her reflect on the challenges faced by ordinary citizens, especially those who rely on government services for assistance and legal support.

Story time;
I went to the PAO today to get something.There weren’t many people there, and one of them was Lolo, who was with someone (not sure kung anak niya).
Habang nakaupo ako dito sa waiting area (katabi ko yan sina Lolo), may lumabas na babaeng naka’dress na green at may hawak na papel at nakasimangot.Then she approached Lolo saying “Asaan medical niyo!?” (nagulat ako kasi her tone was rude,like it was only 11:45’ish am, na para bagang pagod na pagod na siya!? )
Hindi pa dun natatapos, their conversation continues, while the masungit na Ale says while holding the paper at may tinuturo: “Tingnan niyo toh!Dami niyo blangko! Ayusin niyo naman!”
Sumagot yung kasama ni Lolo saying “Sarado po kasi yung ospital…” hindi pa siya natatapos magsalita the Ale says “Hindi nagsasara ang ospital at walang ospital dun! (with the face na inis at rude tone)….”. Sabay bigay ng papel kina Lolo at tumalikod ng pairap.
Wala akong nagawa kundi napabuntong hininga na lang and said to myself “Ang hirap maging mahirap”.
This kind of behavior from government employees is nothing new to us. It’s just sad to witness how they treat an ordinary citizen who needs help, especially at his age. “
