Teddy Corpuz Recovers Stolen Belongings After Robber Broke Into Their Home in Quezon City
The home of Teddy Corpuz in Quezon City was reportedly broken into and robbed by a 24-year-old suspect.
Based on CCTV footage, the suspect was seen climbing the balcony on the second floor before entering the house through a window around 3 a.m on Sunday morning. After getting inside, the man allegedly opened a door and searched through bags and personal belongings inside the house.
Authorities said the suspect took several items including a gaming tablet, cash, chargers, and some jewelry. Reports stated that the suspect stayed inside the house for nearly 30 minutes while looking for valuables that could be stolen.

The man also reportedly went down to the first floor and tried to open a locked door but failed. He later returned to the second floor and escaped through the same area where he entered.
After climbing down from the balcony, the suspect temporarily stayed inside the property’s gate while waiting for passing vehicles to clear before finally leaving the area.
According to the Quezon City Police District Station 14, Teddy Corpuz and his family were asleep on the third floor of the house while the robbery happened on the second floor. Authorities estimated the value of the stolen items and cash at around P90,000.
Police have already identified the suspect and are continuing their search operation.
On Thursday (May 7, 2026), Corpuz revealed that the suspect’s sibling allegedly surrendered the stolen gadget to authorities after being informed where it had been hidden. However, the stolen rings were no longer recovered.
“Pumunta yung barangay sa bahay namin, ininform nila kami na sinurrender ng kapatid ng magnanakaw yung item na nakuha sa amin. Yung iPad sinurrender sa amin, tinawagan nung magnanakaw yung kapatid niya tapos sinabi kung saan tinago yung iPad,” Corpuz said.
The Quezon City Police District has already filed a robbery complaint against the suspect. Authorities also discovered that the man previously faced robbery and illegal firearms cases back in 2018.
Police reminded the public to install CCTV cameras at home and avoid posting travel plans or personal location online to lessen the risk of similar incidents. Authorities also encouraged victims to immediately report crimes, so investigators can quickly conduct follow-up operations.
