MySSS Card — Here’s How To Get Yours Printed in as Fast as 5 Minutes

MYSSS CARD 2026 – If you need an SSS ID that also works as a debit card, you no longer have to wait weeks for it, as members can now have their MySSS Card printed in as fast as five minutes at instant-issuance kiosks of the Social Security System (SSS) and Asia United Bank (AUB).

According to a Technobaboy report on November 4, SSS and AUB have rolled out 46 kiosks in selected AUB branches and SSS offices in Metro Manila, Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao. The five-minute processing time, however, only covers the printing and release of the card, so members must finish the online application first before going to a kiosk.

What Is the MySSS Card?

Based on the SSS MySSS Card page, the MySSS Card is the new official functional ID issued by SSS. It has an EMV chip and replaces the old UMID card. Here are its main features:

  • Easy banking – the card comes with a bank account that is automatically linked to your SSS record for receiving benefits, loan proceeds and other payouts, so there is no need for a separate Disbursement Account Enrollment Module (DAEM) enrollment.
  • Strong security – identity is verified biometrically through the National ID.
  • Payments – it can be used to pay at physical and online stores.

Take note that SSS says the card can be used for SSS transactions, but other government agencies and private institutions are not required to accept it as an official ID. Previously issued SSS cards, including UMID, also remain valid, so UMID holders do not need to replace them.

Who Can Apply — Requirements

Members, prior registrants, pensioners, individual claimants and representative payees may apply, provided that:

  • Your SS number is tagged as “permanent”
  • You are registered on the My.SSS Portal
  • Your local address, mobile number and email address are updated in SSS records
  • You are registered with the PSA/National ID (PhilSys)

SSS also reminds applicants to make sure that their name and date of birth are the same in their SSS and National ID records. If not, these must first be corrected with the concerned agency.

How To Get a MySSS Card at an Instant Kiosk — Step-by-Step

Banks may also charge a card fee, and the application may be cancelled if this is not paid within the bank’s given period.

Coming Soon: MySSS Card on eGovPH

Aside from the physical card, members will soon be able to see their MySSS Card ID in the eGovPH superapp. The Department of Information and Communications Technology (DICT) and SSS signed a data-sharing agreement on October 21, 2026 to bring the card and selected SSS records, such as contribution history, total number of contributions, latest membership type and latest employer, to the app, The Global Filipino Magazine reported. Until the integration goes live, members can keep checking these records through the MySSS mobile app.
