Here’s the latest about Typhoon Opong from the weather state bureau, PAGASA.

TYPHOON OPONG – These areas are under Signal No. 1, 2, 3, and 4 due to the typhoon, with international name Bualoi.

Opong PH has now reached the typhoon category, and has made landfall over San Policarpio, Eastern Samar, and is now threatening the Eastern Visayas. It has maximum sustained winds of 120 km/h near the center, gustiness of up to 165 km/h, and a central pressure of 975 hPa, moving west northwestward at 30 km/h.
