Several areas have announced the suspension of classes on Wednesday, September 9, as persistent rains brought by the Southwest Monsoon, or habagat continue to affect parts of the country. This is being implemented as a precaution to ensure the safety of students, teachers, and school personnel amid the ongoing inclement weather.
PAGASA has advised that the southwest monsoon may bring heavy rains to Luzon and Visayas on Wednesday.

- Bataan
- Balanga City – face-to-face classes in all levels (public and private)
- Hermosa – face-to-face classes in all levels (public and private)
- Bulacan
- Pampanga
- Candaba – face-to-face classes in select schools (Lanang Elementary School, Pasig Elementary School, San Agustin Elementary School, Lanang High School, Pasig High School, Paralaya High School, Pampanga State University)
- Macabebe – face-to-face classes in all levels (public and private)
- Masantol – face-to-face classes in all levels (public and private), until Thursday, September 10
- Mexico – face-to-face classes in all levels (public and private)
- San Fernando City – classes in select schools (Camp Olivas Elementary School, Pandaras Integrated School, San Nicolas Integrated School)
- San Simon – all levels (public and private), until Friday, September 11, except Concepcion Integrated School
