Megastar Sharon Cuneta has firmly stated in a recent interview that she will not enter politics.

Even though she is working in the world of entertainment, Sharon is no stranger when it comes to the political arena.
Sharon Cuneta is married to Senator Kiko Pangilinan, and she was also active during the campaign period. At times, the veteran actress would share her political opinions.
Despite being married to Senator Kiko, the Megastar clarified that she has no interest in entering the political arena, and she reiterated this in a recent interview on the Kapuso afternoon talk show Fast Talk with Boy Abunda.
Sharon intends to protect her peaceful life and stick to her nearly five-decade-long career in the entertainment industry. For her, the political arena is a “horror story”.
Even though she believes that she has the intellectual capacity and the heart to serve the people, Sharon admitted that she does not have the stomach for the intense criticism, intrigue, and conflict that happen in Philippine politics.
Sharon Cuneta emphasized that she prefers to help others through her existing platform. The veteran actress has been doing charity work even though she is not a politician.
Meanwhile, the Megastar is now busy taping her upcoming series Honor Thy Mother with Kapuso Primetime Princess Barbie Forteza. Previously, the younger actress shared that the reason why she became an actress was a Megastar. Barbie also shared that working with Sharon was like an acting masterclass. The veteran actress-singer also has nothing but good words for the younger actress.
