SAN JOSE DEL MONTE, BULACAN – A pet owner has publicly called out a pet aftercare in Bacoor, Cavite, after discovering that their beloved dog Ivy may be among the 29 animal remains found dumped in San Jose del Monte, Bulacan.

In a Facebook post, Cejae Perez expressed anger and heartbreak, questioning the establishment after the family allegedly entrusted their beloved pet to the service for cremation.

Perez said they trusted the establishment to properly cremate their fur baby, only to allegedly discover that Ivy’s remains were among those found discarded in Bulacan.

The post also featured photos of Ivy, including a picture of the dog and a memorial display prepared by the family.

What makes the family’s complaint particularly concerning is that one of the dogs listed among the recovered remains was named Ivy, with a recorded weight of 14.6 kilograms.

The same name and weight appeared in the photos shared by Perez, raising questions about whether the dog found in Bulacan was indeed their beloved pet.

The discovery involved 26 dogs and 3 cats whose remains were reportedly found inside individual bags in a vacant lot. Some of the bags had names and recorded weights written on them.

Animal welfare volunteers from Luna and Furry Siblings (LFS) previously appealed to pet owners to check their veterinary records and aftercare documents to help identify the animals.

Perez’s post has added another emotional account to the growing controversy surrounding the 29 animal remains.

The family expressed pain over the possibility that their pet was not properly cremated despite placing their trust in the aftercare service.

Meanwhile, volunteers have continued gathering information to trace the origins of the recovered remains and determine who was responsible for their disposal.

As of this writing, the allegations against Ahjay Paws Aftercare have not been independently verified, and the identity of the dog listed as Ivy has yet to be conclusively established.

No official response from the establishment has been confirmed.

The incident continues to draw attention from animal lovers, with concerned individuals calling for answers and accountability under the campaign #JusticeForCSJDM29.
