Batangas Vlogger Faces Charges After Threatening Dogs During Livestream
A Batangas vlogger is facing a complaint about alleged animal cruelty after a livestream sparked concern among animal welfare advocates.
The controversy started when the vlogger reportedly went live on social media and expressed anger toward several dogs that had allegedly damaged an expensive pair of slippers.
During the livestream, the vlogger was accused of threatening to hurt the animals before having them killed. The video quickly drew attention and triggered strong reactions from people who believed the dogs were being placed in danger.

The incident eventually reached the attention of the Animal Kingdom Foundation (AKF), a group that works to protect and rescue animals from abuse and neglect. After learning about the situation, the organization immediately took action to ensure the safety of the dogs and to address the concerns raised by the public.
According to reports, the dogs were successfully rescued before any harm could come to them. The case was then brought before local barangay officials, where the matter was discussed with the parties involved.
Following the investigation, a complaint was filed against the vlogger for an alleged violation of the Animal Welfare Act, a law that protects animals from cruelty and mistreatment.
The Animal Kingdom Foundation also shared that an agreement was reached at the barangay level regarding the welfare of the dogs. Under the arrangement, the animals would be turned over to the organization so they could be transferred to a rescue center where they would receive proper care and protection.
As of the latest reports, efforts are still being made to obtain the vlogger’s side of the story.

Meanwhile, the rescued dogs remain under the care of animal welfare advocates while the complaint undergoes the proper legal process.
