9-Year-Old Boy’s First Attempt at Cooking Rice Turns Into Funny Experience
The first attempt of a 9-year-old boy to cook rice as a part of their simple school project turned into a funny and unforgettable experience.
Grade 4 student Zayden was asked to record a video of himself preparing rice as part of his school assignment. With his mother, Mommy Alicia, guiding him throughout the process, the young boy eagerly tried to complete the task
However, his first cooking experience did not go exactly as planned.

In the video shared by his mother, Zayden can be seen carefully washing the rice before preparing it for cooking. Since it was his first time doing the task, Mommy Alicia could be heard giving him instructions along the way.
After washing the rice, Zayden looked for the rice cooker but seemed unsure where to put the rice. He even got a chair to reach the appliance placed on the table.
However, instead of putting the rice in the cooking pot, he accidentally poured the rice and water directly into the rice cooker’s main body.
His mother was shocked and immediately let out a scream after seeing what happened. The unexpected mistake quickly turned their school project into a funny family moment.
Mommy Alicia explained that she had not properly taught Zayden how to cook rice because they were doing the project on the spot, as it was due on Friday. She also did not expect him to pour the rice and water directly into the appliance.
To finish the assignment, they transferred the rice into a regular pot and cooked it on the stove.
Luckily, their neighbor offered to buy the damaged rice cooker, allowing the family to purchase a new one that same evening.
Zayden’s grandmother, who owned the damaged appliance, did not get angry. Instead, she found the situation amusing and even bought her grandson a new rice cooker.
