A 48-year-old man listed as Palawan’s regional No. 4 most wanted person was arrested in Roxas, Palawan, on Sunday morning after police served a standing court warrant.
According to a Daily Tribune report posted at 11:31 a.m. on Sunday, November 8, 2026, the Palawan Police Provincial Office (PPO) identified the suspect only as alias “Vic,” a self-employed resident of Barangay 4 in Roxas. He was also listed as the No. 1 most wanted person in the municipality of Roxas.

Police said the suspect was arrested at around 8:10 a.m. in Barangay Malcampo during a joint manhunt operation.
The operation involved personnel of the Roxas Municipal Police Station, the Provincial Intelligence Unit, the Provincial Investigation and Detective Management Unit, the 2nd Provincial Mobile Force Company, and the 401st Maneuver Company of the Regional Mobile Force Battalion.
Authorities served a warrant of arrest issued on October 14, 2026 by Judge Emmanuel Quial Artazo of the Regional Trial Court, Branch 14, in Taytay, Palawan.
The warrant covers two counts of qualified rape of a minor, with no bail recommended.
The suspect is now detained at the Roxas Municipal Police Station for documentation and proper disposition.
Palawan PPO Provincial Director PCol. Joel D. Casupanan said the arrest reflects the provincial police’s continuing efforts to locate individuals facing serious criminal charges, particularly those involving children.
“We will relentlessly pursue individuals who prey on the innocent, especially children. Let this serve as a clear warning that no one is beyond the reach of the law,” Casupanan said.
He also reiterated the provincial police’s commitment to strengthening intelligence-driven operations and protecting vulnerable members of the community.
The suspect remains in police custody and will now have to answer the charges before the Taytay court that issued the no-bail warrant.
