VP Sara Duterte has this new “banat” against PBBM
Vice President Sara Duterte had her fierce verbal attack against President Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr., as she called him “bangag, sinungaling, korap” (high on drugs/spaced out, liar, corrupt).
On Friday morning, September 11, 2026, Duterte delivered these remarks against her 2022 elections running mate to a crowd of supporters gathered outside the Quezon City Hall of Justice.
In her fiery speech, with her brother, Davao City’s 1st district Representative Polong Duterte by her side, she also labeled the President as abusive and shameless.

VP Sara Duterte claimed that the administration of President Bongbong Marcos has brought nothing but hardship to the Filipino people and she demanded that he should resign from office.
The Vice President was at the Quezon City Regional Trial Court Branch 98 that morning for her scheduled arraignment over three counts of grave threats complaints filed against her.
The charges stem from her November 2024 online press conference where she stated that she had hired someone to assassinate President Marcos, the First Lady Liza Araneta-Marcos, and former House Speaker Martin Romualdez if a plot against her succeeded.

Based on the report from Inquirer News, the court ultimately deferred the arraignment following a motion filed by VP Sara’s defense camp.
While VP Sara Duterte had her fiery statement against the Chief Executive of the Philippines, her ongoing Senate impeachment trial, occurred simultaneously. The trial focuses on the alleged misuse of Department of Education (DepEd) and confidential funds.
To recal, the “bangag” (high on drugs) remark against President Bongbong Marcos originally came from former President Rodrigo Duterte, who also stated that the incumbent president is a weak leader.
News outlet Abante shared a clip of VP Sara Duterte’s feiry remarks on the President.
