A bus rams at least eight vehicles along España Boulevard in Manila after losing its brakes, leaving 10 people injured.
On Friday evening, September 11, 2026, the bus suddenly became difficult to control after losing its brakes and crashed into several vehicles along the busy road.
Among those hits were an SUV, a minibus, two jeepneys, and a motorcycle that became trapped in the collision. The impact caused several people to suffer injuries, with some reportedly in serious condition.

Police said the bus lost its braking capability while traveling along the boulevard. With the driver unable to stop the vehicle, it continued moving forward and struck the vehicles ahead.
“Sumabog yung preno niya kaya napuwersa siyang dumiretso, at hindi siya nakapreno,” Station 14 Deputy PCP Commander PLt. Abelardo H. Aguilar said.
The injured victims were quickly taken to different hospitals for medical attention. Authorities have yet to release the complete identities and conditions of all those involved.
A student who witnessed the incident said the crash happened with great force. Her belongings were thrown around because of the impact, leaving her frightened and confused. She was relieved that she did not suffer serious injuries but remained concerned about the other people involved in the accident.
