Mixed Oil Price Adjustments Expected This Week, DOE Says
FUEL PRICE UPDATE – The Department of Energy (DOE) announced mixed oil price adjustments starting Tuesday, October 27, 2026.
According to DOE, diesel prices will increase by P1.20 per liter, while kerosene will rise by P0.50 per liter. In contrast, gasoline prices will drop by P0.30 per liter.
The new prices will remain in effect from October 27 to November 2, 2026, bringing some relief to gasoline users but adding to the fuel expenses of drivers and households that rely on diesel and kerosene.

The latest adjustment follows another week of changes at fuel stations across the country. During the previous week, diesel prices increased by P2.60 per liter. Gasoline, meanwhile, recorded a larger decrease of P4.30 per liter, while kerosene went down by P1.00 per liter.
The lates projection show that fuel prices continue to move in different directions, affecting motorists depending on the type of fuel they use. Drivers of diesel-powered vehicles may need to prepare for higher costs, while gasoline users can expect a small reduction in their expenses.
Global oil market conditions, including tensions in the Middle East, have also placed pressure on fuel prices. Changes in international oil costs can affect the prices paid by local consumers, although the size and direction of adjustments vary from week to week.

The DOE also reported that the country had an estimated total petroleum supply equivalent to 53.15 days. The reported supply covered about 52.44 days for gasoline, 55.90 days for diesel, and 153.69 days for kerosene.
Motorists are advised to check updated prices at their preferred fuel stations, as the actual cost may vary among oil companies.
