Classmates Pool Money Together to Buy Shoes for Fellow Student
An entire class at a university in Iloilo pooled their money together to buy a new pair of shoes for one of their classmates, who was often seen wearing slippers.
Recently, Facebook user Kaizza Larios shared a video showing how their whole class contributed to buy shoes for their fellow student. The post quickly went viral and drew various reactions online.
A group of students decided to surprise their classmate right inside their classroom. The small idea soon became a meaningful project as everyone in the section willingly contributed whatever amount they could to make it happen.
According to the students, the gesture was not about the value of the shoes but about showing care for someone who might need a little extra support. For them, the gift represented friendship, unity, and the importance of looking after one another.
The students from Section 4-Charlie said the experience reminded them that kindness becomes more powerful when people work together. They believed that even simple actions can make a lasting impact on someone’s life, especially when they come from sincere intentions.
