SUV Crashes Into UST Hospital Gate in Manila
A woman suffered injuries to her head and face after the SUV she was riding crashed into the gate of the UST Hospital in Manila.
On early Saturday morning, November 29, 2025, a CCTV captured an SUV that crashes into the gate of the UST Hospital. The incident happened just past 2:30 a.m.
In the video, delivery rider Macoy Legarda can be seen rushing to help the injured passenger. He said he didn’t hesitate to carry the woman straight to the hospital because her face was bleeding and she was struggling to stay conscious. He tried to keep her awake while bringing her inside for immediate medical care.

Barangay 470 SK Chairman Emanuel Zamora, who responded to the scene, shared that the woman was thrown from the back seat onto the windshield due to the force of the crash. Prior to hitting the hospital gate, CCTV footage showed the SUV speeding as it made a sharp turn toward Dapitan Avenue from Lacson Avenue.
The SUV driver claimed that someone crossed the road, causing him to swerve and lose control. However, when officials reviewed the CCTV footage, no pedestrian was seen crossing at the time of the incident.
Zamora explained that the driver appeared to have taken the turn too fast, and because the road ramps upward in that area, the movement may have caused him to turn the wheel sharply to the left. He also noted that the driver smelled of alcohol.
The three other passengers inside the SUV were unharmed, as was the driver, who was believed to be intoxicated during the incident.
Police now have custody of the SUV driver as the investigation into the crash continues. Authorities are reviewing the footage and statements to determine what charges may be filed and to ensure accountability for the dangerous incident.
